Joo Chiat holds so many memories of my childhood (and even teenage years). I played here when I was a kid, studied here in the weekends, and visited on family occasions to help out and play mahjong. Now I play with my nephews and nieces.
(And I miss my childhood.)

Dinner celebrations (idk why we have it twice but yes):

When you look back at old photos and you’re like “I do not know what possessed me to tie my hair this way (I think I was going for messy bun but…) and my eyebrows are unacceptable fml”

My job at every family event with a karaoke system ^ also to prevent aunties and uncles from singing too many Hokkien songs.
