So I’m back from the land of no Facebook and people smoking indoors (why tho, seriously) – and the traffic looks like that:
I love how things like that define a city HAHA.

We had crappy breakfast every morning so I walked to Paris Baguette.

So this was actually a trip with Geoff for the Dolby Champions training, held at the Communications University of China (CUC).

Lessons in progress:

All the lessons were in Mandarin. I died a little bit despite me being so Chinese.

Break time looks like this on their pretty rooftop chill-out place:
At other times, though, I sneak out in the middle of class and it looks like this:
Very good place to fall asleep.
We had a mini-exchange programme there too!

She was very sweet and brought us snacks during class (which is the best thing because honestly, boring HAHA) and she made our whole trip so much more interesting.
She also brought us to the school canteen! CAN YOU BELIEVE THEIR 麻辣香锅 IS 5 BUCKS AND I CAN’T FINISH IT
Too good.
广院之春 is an annual singing competition and this year was its 30th anniversary. The Dolby trainees were mixing for this event:

And while you work, don’t forget the beer ^

After this event, I gave back all my knowledge to Geoff OTL
They completed the course! I was just there on free holiday. Congrats to all though 😀

And we finally had a free day to ourselves for some sightseeing:

Bye Beijing! It was a love-hate relationship, but I would come back ❤
