대한민국 Part #2: Cool colours, hot weather

16th September 2018

Mornings in Jeju are beautiful ❤️ The weather wasn’t quite like what I expected (think windy / cold / OUT WITH THE SWEATERS!), and instead all I got was hot, and sunny, and the unrelenting sun. The sea was still pretty.

I decided to take a solitary stroll outside our hotel after breakfast before heading off to Udo Island:

It was a long and tiring process for this photo. The sun was in my face but unfortunately that was also the only way to see my face. The wind was also messing up my hair (which was already messy but yes).

Udo Island

I was just very happy to see the sea because I haven’t had a lot of chances to go to the beach in Singapore. Then again, Singapore beaches not as blue and nice because rubbish people like to throw rubbish into the sea.

很。熱。

Apparently it was very awesome weather for South Koreans but I would very much prefer the windy weather HAHA 🙊

These are the only photos from the hike up to Udobong Peak HAHA. We didn’t reach the top because we climbed like 20 steps and decided, fuck it, the weather is too hot for this shit. We went down and ate peanut ice cream HAHA.

It was a good thing I didn’t wear a long-sleeved shirt like this woman. Still, I held on to hope and brought a long-sleeved shirt HAHA. 希望破滅 💔

This was an interesting place, except the sun got really hot and the tour guide got really long-winded and when she started talking about 大長今 I was like stop-I-don’t-need-this-information-omg-need-shade 😱

BLACK PIG!

I really think the 돌하르방’s look very cute. Apparently they bless you with a son when you touch their noses.

My mother made a new friend. Her name is Doris. She likes to talk about her plants in Australia. She came with her husband Edmund and brother Fred. Very random photo (by my sister) taken while we were stuck in the toilet queue yay.

More importantly:
