This gig was difficult to handle on two levels. Firstly, I was suffering from indigestion, thanks to too much food from the night market – Mary managed to puke the previous night, and I tried my best but it stayed in me for a long time and tortured me until I was back in Taipei sian HAHA. Secondly, 空無一人… 這片沙灘…

OK la not really 空無一人 but I think partly due to the fact that it was in the afternoon, there were only maybe two people who stayed all the way. Bit of a bummer but we had prepared our hearts for this (maybe not enough) and the show went on:

I enjoyed this space though! It was really pretty and cosy and we’re going back here to stay the next time we visit Tainan ❤️

19th October 2018 @ Room335

TWO SHOWS. ONE DAY. 要了我的命 + my consumption of food was almost zero HAHA. I’d eat 兩口 at every place we went to and my entire body would scream “OVERLOAD!!!!”

Oh how I regretted the previous day 😭

My first impression of Room335 was “wah jamming studio” but then it actually turned out to be a pretty cool place. People would pay cover charge (inclusive of a drink) to discover new bands, new music, and it was pretty awesome ✨ it was actually a very (thankfully) welcoming crowd and I enjoyed myself very much despite my indigestion.

My second impression of the place was “the sound engineer damn cute” 🌚 he bassist somemore HAHA

And our final show ended. Like this. Snap of the fingers, four days, boom, gone. And while a part of me celebrated my freedom, I knew I was going to miss this. Difficult as it was, indigestion and all, these four days have been an incredible learning journey for all of us, and all the roles we hold – musician, performer, artiste, and friend.

Special thanks goes out to Pew and Travis who have gone through thick and thin with me, who have given me invaluable advice about where I should go from here, who have had my back on and off stage, bringing out the best and most lovable side of me, and all because they believe in me. Thank you guys I love you so much ❤️
