Day 1 of 2018, and I woke up at 1.30pm in the afternoon with a mild hangover.
It’s been a wild, wild December. It’s been a wild year, really.
MV preparations were in order for 壞人 aka Ninjagirl. From pre-production meetings to finally shooting the MV, it’s been a fun journey – but we still have one last shoot to go in January. I can’t wait for the final video 🙊 Check out our behind the scenes here ❤️

Omg these 得來不易的演唱會門票 – it was worth every cent of my $202. Although I would have liked to be closer to the stage… but 有門票已經好過沒門票 so I don’t complain 💕

We said goodbye with our last gig as The Company of Cats closed its doors on 30th December. For the first time in our collaborative efforts for Over The Moon, I performed my originals to the resident kitties alongside NEKO Highway & Travis 😿 suddenly very 感慨 hahaha.

Christmas affairs were in order:
Yes, on Christmas day. Reminder of Soundfarm days when I saw a wild boar in the fields outside Geoff’s house + I had to walk through roads with no streetlights after watching The Conjuring + eating prata with Nathan Hartono (yes, one of my greatest achievements). Congrats la 축하해요 🙆🏻
I will never forget meeting a bunch of music people in 2016 at Jin An’s showcase at Hood Bar. I got drunk, things escalated from there and we became fast friends. 1.5 years on, I’m thankful that these are the people that I can share conversations with, not just about music, but also where to get the best chicken rice in Singapore 😂

Celebrations at the grandpa’s house and kiddos were running around as usual. Also did some hairdressing for the nieces and this 弟弟:
Countdown at Pump Station 1965! The hair looks like 草 because it rained.
It was fun la, especially after beer. HAHA I just kept telling everybody to drink more because countdown 💛 It’s been fun, 2017.
