GEMXZ 玩台灣 Part I: Passport expiry dates

And so we were all ready to check in and Glenn was joking that his passport expired… and wtf the expiry date was really less than 6 months away (WHY YOU LIKE THIS HAHA DAMN NOOB) 😱 we went into panic mode LOL had to check with the counter staff about what we could do (nothing much at the moment) – in the end we flew off without him #abandon

So the first thing I did when I touched down in Taipei was to call Zhao. Because he specifically told me to call him when we landed. If not he cannot pick us up. And I did. But HE NEVER PICK UP walao eh disappointment

I took it very chill la so I didn’t really check all the addresses and sort out all the details beforehand HAHAHA (noob move). So we didn’t know where he was staying + our hotel booking was with him so I was like praying he would wake up soon (explains the face ^) 🙄

I must have called a hundred times, but we decided to give up and go for breakfast HAHA

Halfway through breakfast Zhao finally called back. Heng sia I really didn’t want to lug my luggage everywhere HAHA.

Well this was probably the last time I saw Ximending in a sunny state ^ Managed to freshen up a bit at Zhao’s hotel, where everybody went into a state of frenzy trying to buy Mayday tickets for June HAHAHAHA. Every time sia seriously 😂 Meanwhile I already got my tickets so I was bugging Glenn on the progress of his passport HAHA

I love this place!! It’s full of kiddos running around at the playground and I made friends with a 弟弟 who told me his name is 比比 (honestly though, Taiwanese people come up with the weirdest names) and he called me 姊姊 #感動流淚

I think I have already prepared my mind for kiddos to call me auntie so when he called me 姊姊 I was like 😭😭😭

He made me ride the slides with him so I had an excuse to revisit childhood memories ❤️

SO CUTE THIS PLACE. It’s individual cubicles so people can all be antisocial hahahaha. Ok la I guess it worked out quite well cos I was actually a bit tired from the flight 😴 Also I think Evan and I did quite well on the 不要蔥 quest (I always forget).
